Students will be able to:

  • Understand the major roles, responsibilities, and activities of a college undergraduate educator.

  • Know instructional theory and methods relevant to teaching new college students.

  • Understand ethical, legal, and multicultural issues associated with education preparation and training.

  • Gain knowledge of the Wellness Model and College Student Developmental theories.

  • Learn to identify and locate the available campus resources related to student success.

  • Learn how to create effective assessment outcomes of student learning.
