Note: Existing paid New York Times subscribers must cancel their paid subscription before authenticating their MSUM voucher.

Create your new account here by using your StarID as follows:


faculty/staff: StarID@minnstate.edu
students: StarID@go.minnstate.edu

Once registered, you may access NYTimes.com directly and the NYTimes mobile app from any location on any web-enabled device.

Students will have access until 12/31 of the graduation year they choose and faculty/staff will have 4 years of full account access, after which they must re-authenticate by visiting accessnyt.com

New York Times: Learning Tools for the Classroom

Visit nytimesineducation.com and log in with your new username and password.

The Learning Network

The Learning Network is The New York Times’s curricular tool offering activities for students and resources for teachers.

Visit https://www.nytimes.com/section/learning. When using The Learning Network, make sure you have activated your New York Times access and we recommend that you log into your account so you can save articles and navigate to all other parts of nytimes.com.
