Ambrose Digital offers about 500 college-level streaming videos on a range academic subjects (particularly arts, humanities, and sciences). New titles added throughout the year.
LearningExpress Library is an educational and career-focused resource. This database contains tutorials (math, writing, computer skills), practice tests (GRE, MCAT, GMAT, etc), and ebooks to help students and job seekers.
This historical New York Times newspaper provides genealogists, researchers and scholars with online, first-hand accounts and coverage of the politics, society and events of the time. Coverage is 1851 with 3-4 embargo. See Newspapers – U.S. Newsstream (Proquest) for current articles.
We are pleased to offer access to Very Short Introductions. The site contains online versions of the popular book series. Very Short Introductions are an excellent way to learn about subjects you previously knew nothing about.
Subject areas include: arts, business, economics, history, law, philosophy, politics, psychology, religion, science and sociology.
Unfortunately, we must drop titles too. The following databases were cut for a variety of reasons: cost, usage, utility, being the most common reasons.
