The Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS) is a nonprofit health policy resource center dedicated to improving health care access and quality. The National Coalition on Health Care (NCHC) is America's oldest, most diverse, and broadest based group working to achieve comprehensive health system reform. Founded in 1990 by Dr. Henry Simmons, NCHC is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization with more than 80 participating organizations, representing medical societies, businesses, unions, health care providers, associations of religious congregations, pension and health funds, insurers, and groups representing consumers, patients, women, minorities, and persons with disabilities. Our member organizations collectively represent - as employees, members, or congregants over 100 million Americans.

The National Public Health Information Coalition is the premier network of public health communicators in the United States and U.S. territories. We are committed to "making public health public" by sharing our knowledge, expertise and resources to effectively communicate about the important health issues of the day – helping people lead healthier lives in healthier communities.

Physicians for a National Health Program is a non-profit research and education organization of 18,000 physicians, medical students and health professionals who support single-payer national health insurance.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)’s Public Health Information Network (PHIN) is a national initiative to increase the capacity of public health agencies to electronically exchange data and information across organizations and jurisdictions (e.g., clinical care to public health, public health to public health and public health to other federal agencies). To do so, PHIN promotes the use of standards and defines functional and technical requirements for public health information exchange.

For more than 60 years, the Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) has served as an independent professional association represented by a diverse membership of nearly 4,000 health education professionals and students throughout the United States and 25 international countries. The organization promotes healthy behaviors, healthy communities, and healthy environments through its membership, its network of local chapters, and its numerous partnerships with other organizations. SOPHE members work in elementary/secondary schools, universities, voluntary organizations, health care settings, worksites, and local/state/federal government agencies.
