Textbook Pain

The average college student today spends $900 on textbooks (http://www.sacbee.com/2010/12/06/3235665/internetcost-spur-textbook-revolt.html).  We understand that this is a major pain point for many of our students.  To help alleviate some of this pain, we have put together this guide to help you find alternatives.  Although the library does not purchase every textbook for every course, there are a few options from low cost to no cost available to you including:

Buying

Renting

Borrowing

Library Policy 7.5.2:  Textbooks

Designation as a textbook shall not disqualify a publication for selection.  Use of the library materials budget to supply course textbooks is discouraged.
