Google's Advanced Search can help you put in more parameters for your searching. In the all these words box, I would type graphic design and then in this exact word or phrase, I would type the name of your designer. You can also limit to a site or domain, if appropriate, and ALSO make sure to pay attention to the usage rights. You have to be certain you have permission to use information, even if you think you can just take it because it's on the Internet!!!
If you are having trouble finding anything on your designer, another great tip is to search the Dragon OneSearch. I would STRONGLY suggest you search your designer and put " " marks around their name. For example, "jules cheret" or "chip kidd". The OneSearch tool will pull up a lot of random results if you do not use the quotation marks.
