What is a Book Review?

A book review is an article that evaluates and describes a book’s content. Reviews are published for different audiences including scholars who wish to read a critical assessment of a book and librarians who require a brief description of a book to aid them in selection decisions. Typically, scholarly reviews are longer and of more use to students.

  • Year of publication
